I started this business because I saw a gap in the market. Too often, rugged devices were being sold by people who didn't really understand the products or the environments they were designed for.

We are proud to announce a new partnership with PB Tech, New Zealand’s largest technology retailer. Under this agreement, PB Tech will stock and supply the ONERUGGED range of rugged computer tablets, making these devices more accessible to customers nationwide.

Since we had such a low product failure rate we outsourced our repairs to a local repair company in Cambridge.

2014
GLOBCOMM
Commenced marketing own brand of hardware including to overseas markets. Our first major client for our own brand in New Zealand was Carters Tyre Services. They had been a client of mine since 2010. Their workforce provided proof we had a good quality product for sale & export.
2009-2019
GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED
Started as a part-time home-based business in the rugged computer space as a reseller for all major brands. Supported client base with other hardware items like barcode scanners and printers. Formed partnerships with strategic software partners.

Professional Services
